Based on the Frank L. Baum’s Wizard of Oz in which a little girl named Dorothy is abducted from her home by a tornado and transported to the land of OZ, Where she meets the Scarecrow, the Tin man, and the cowardly Lion. They all go off to see the Wizard of Oz, who turns out to be a phony. But she starts believing in herself and they all live happily ever after. Ease on down the road to this Tony award winning musical. The Wiz is an endlessly delightful Soul/R&B musical reworking of the “Wizard of Oz” it radiates so much energy you can hardly sit in your seats!
