Character Profiles - Boys

Curly:
Cowboy in his 20's. In love with Laurey but won't admit it. Has a rather big ego – which Laurey always deflates with ease. Strong, brave, etc., - the hero.
Will Parker:
Cowboy – in love with Ado Annie. Rather naïve and unsophisticated. Is awed by the "big" buildings in Kansas City and is a little too trusting of Ado Annie.
Jud Fry:
The villain – a rather scary and disturbed farm hand in love with Laurey. A great part!
Ali Hakim:
Persian traveling peddler man – smooth talking both to the ladies he's trying to charm and to the people to whom he's trying to sell his wares. A comic character – Persian accent.
Cord Elam:
Cowboy and Federal Marshall – pompous about his role as Marshall.
Andrew Carnes:
Ado Annie's tough, feisty father – who uses his shotgun to encourage a proposal from any man who flirts too much with Annie
