Character Profiles - Boys

Frank Butler:
Sharp shooter star of Buffalo Bill's Wild West
Show. Quite a ladies man and very egotistical. Frank then meets Annie - and not only is she not the "sweet and dainty" lady he thinks he wants, but she is also a better shot than he. And then the fun begins. . .
Sitting Bull:
Famous Indian Chief and Sioux leader in the Battle of Big Horn, who joins Buffalo Bill's Show. He has comic lines, but should not be played in any stereotypical manner. He cares for Annie and is responsible for bringing Frank and Annie together.

Buffalo Bill:

One of Buffalo Bill's assistants. He's like a carnival barker outside the tent introducing preshow acts, getting the crowd excited about the show inside. He, Hattie and Dolly lead the parade into each town and sing "Colonel Buffalo Bill." Energetic - a nice guy.

Mac:
One of Buffalo Bill's assistants. He's like a carnival barker outside the tent introducing preshow acts, getting the crowd excited about the show inside. He, Hattie and Dolly lead the parade into each town and sing "Colonel Buffalo Bill." Energetic - a nice guy.
Little Jake:
Age 8. Has great comic lines. Teases Dolly every time they meet - and even his big sister Annie while he's "larning" her how to read.

Pawnee Bill:

Genial "old pal" of Buffalo Bill, but also his fierce competitor with his Far East Show.
