Character Profiles - Girls

Annie Oakley:
Back woods country girl - who has become a crack shot by shooting game to feed her little sisters and brother. She falls in love with Frank Butler at first sight. She becomes an international sharp shooting star with Buffalo Bill troupe - which hinders her romance with Frank. She's warmhearted, funny, gutsy but vulnerable.
Hattie:
The take-charge, energetic, shrewd general manager of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. In her late 30's. Devious at times but basically honest and warm hearted. Dry sense of humor.
Dolly:
Early 20's. Assistant to Frank Butler in his sharp shooting acts. Stuck-up and jealous of Annie. Teased by Annie's brothers and sisters. No sense of humor.
Pearl Wilson:
Down to earth, no nonsense, 50'ish owner of Hotel Buffalo Bill's troupe wants to use. Warmhearted to Annie. A "character part." Country accent.
Jessie,
Minnie and
Nellie:
Annie's little sisters - ages 12, 10, 9. Fiercely protective and proud of Annie. Country accents. They travel with her when she joins Buffalo Bills troupe.

Mrs. Potter
Porter:

Aging society beauty queen with affected voice and laugh. Chases “Franky” (as she calls him) Butler
