Guys and Dolls is a wonderfully funny, yet romantic musical comedy set in New York City. The colorful characters include members of the Salvation Army Save-A-Soul Mission, Dancing Show Girls from the Pink Flamingo Night Club, Havana Night Clubbers and many New York Street people.

Main Speaking Parts

Salvation Army:

Sister Sarah:
Young (in her 20’s) Salvation Army sergeant. Strong willed and rather uptight – until she falls in love with Sky Masterson. (Sings)
Sister Arvide:
Sarah’s aunt. Warm hearted, less rigid than her niece. Wants Sarah to be happy. (Sings)

General Cartwright :

Other

Miss Adelaide:

In charge of all the New York Missions. Practical, down to earth – a “take charge” woman.

Featured singer at the Pink Flamingo Night Club. Wants to act like a high class society lady – and most of all, wants (after 14 years of being engaged) to marry Nathan. (Sings)
