Spring 2020

Eight weeks into rehearsals for Lion King, our community suddenly shut down due to Covid-19,  and schools adjusted and began teaching virtually.  CTW quickly followed suit, and modified the show to perform virtually.  Nine songs from the show were selected, and each actor was asked to self tape the songs they performed in.  The videos and sound tracks were edited together to create a 53 minute performance which was privately shared with the CTW families on July 16th.

 

We are impressed with the resilience of our actors and their families, as well as the Directors, Aaron Umsted and Holly Francis, and our Music Director, Betsy Balkin to creatively change direction and re-build the show so that the kids can have a final performance.
