PERFORMANCES BY CTW ALUMNI
Betsy Morgan was Peter Pan in our 1994 production. Since then, she has been working in music theater in NYC for over 20 years. Betsy has appeared in the original casts of Kimberly Akimbo, The King and I, A Little Night Music, Les Miserables, The Little Mermaid and High Fidelity.
You may recognize Dan Ponce as an anchor on Chicago's top-rated WGN Morning News. He also founded the world-renowned acappella group, Straight No Chaser. During his CTW days, Dan played Albert Peterson in our 1991 production of Bye Bye Birdie.
Brian Kite is the Dean of the UCLA School of Theater Film & Television. His work in theater direction garnered critical acclaim for American Idiot, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Spring Awakening.
At CTW, Brian had leads in Bugsy Malone, Lil Abner, A Christmas Carol and Bye Bye Birdie.
Jenny Farney has performed on all 7 continents, touring with notable cruise lines, and starred in Dancing Queen at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Jenny leads the Park Avenue Orchestra and holds residencies at Chicago's Red Head Piano Bar and the Davenport Piano Bar.
CTW Alum Chris Yonan will reprise his role as Harold Hill singing with our 8th grade graduating cast of this year's Music Man. Chris has worked on stage, screen and the cabaret circuit in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. Over the years, he has returned to CTW to choreograph numbers.
