CTW SECOND STAGE: BRAVO

THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY

Now in its second year, CTW SECOND STAGE continues to provide high school–age performers with an exciting and enriching opportunity to refine their craft. Under the direction of CTW’s Producing Artistic Director Aaron Umsted and Music Director Isabella Isherwood, this advanced program brings together passionate young artists for an immersive rehearsal process that culminates in a fully staged musical theatre production.

This season, participants performed The Theory of Relativity, a contemporary musical that celebrates connection, individuality, and the moments that shape who we are.

CTW SECOND STAGE offers valuable training that prepares students for future work in high school, college, and beyond. Whether they aspire to pursue theatre professionally or are looking to grow their confidence, collaboration, and artistry, participants will find an inspiring and supportive environment designed to challenge and elevate them.

The program concludes with two performances in the Historic Ballroom at the Community House Winnetka, showcasing the talent, growth, and dedication of these young performers. CTW SECOND STAGE continues to be a unique opportunity for students to engage with Children’s Theatre of Winnetka in a deeper way—strengthening their love of musical theatre while building meaningful performance experience.
