Positions in Stage Crew & AV/Tech
Open to children grades 4-12 who reside or attend school
in New Trier Township
There is a $150 participation fee that includes
a show T-shirt and closing cast party
Many children return, season after season, to work on Stage Crew. Others have moved over to the performance end and served as Student Directors.

Scholarships are available! No child is turned away for financial difficulty.

APPLY
Request an application at the Community House desk during auditions week. Applications accepted through auditions week and the two weeks following.
TECH/DRESS/SHOW
Tech rehearsal: Sat or Sun before show week. Dress rehearsals: Tues or Wed before opening night.
Assigned shows are mandatory. Cast & crew party after final curtain.
ATTEND
Attend mandatory crew and parent meeting (approx 3 weeks into rehearsals) to review schedule, answer Q's and be assigned to one of the two casts.
SET-IN
The set moves on stage (2-4 weeks to show). Crew rehearsals are essential: every Tues/Thurs from 4-6pm or 6-8pm and Sat 10-12pm or 12-2pm (depending on your cast).
